Photographer Lunae Parracho traveled to El Salvador, one of the major Brazilian cities hosting the 2014 World Cup, to photograph moments of violence. The area has suffered an unprecedented increase in the killing wave of more than 250%, according to the Brazilian Center for Latin American Studies (CEBELA).

Lunae, along with police patrols, shot in the slums gang members of drug barons with weapons. He found numerous scenes of the murder and photographed the victims of armed violence.
